3. Equipment installation and activation

Unpacking inspection

Installation steps


After removing the device, place it steadily on a horizontal desktop or fix it on a rack;

Secure the nuts of the two sets of screws that fix the equipment onto the ear holes on both sides of the rack, and then thread the bolts through the ear holes of the equipmentThe ear holes of the rack are finally riveted together with the nuts;

Connect the blue wires of the power cord separately-48Vnegative electrodeThe black wire is connected to 0Vpositive electrodeAbove, the yellow green line represents the protected areaConnecting line.

4. Common problems and solutions

1After turning on, the power does not turn on: Please check if the type of power module used is consistent with the type of power supply you are using, and check the positive and negative polarity of the power supply. The power supply used should comply with the power specifications in this manual.

2Input alarm indicator light on: Turn off the power and check if the optical power at the optical input port is within the input range of the erbium-doped fiber power amplifier. If it still cannot be solved, please confirm whether the input and output optical ports of the device are connected in reverse. Is the wavelength of the optical signal within the operating wavelength range of the device.

3Temperature alarm: Please confirm if the ambient temperature around the device is too high.


4Output alarm, pump alarm: When this alarm occurs, please turn off the device and contact us promptly.
